Threefold evil: “werewolves” attack law enforcement personnel

At the beginning of 2026, three independent cyber-espionage groups — Paper Werewolf, Versatile Werewolf, and Eagle Werewolf — launched large-scale attacks against government and industrial organizations, distributing malware and phishing resources disguised as Starlink services and UAV training in order to steal credentials, deploy RATs, and maintain covert access to victims’ infrastructure.
